The Operations MRP Specialist position is a newly established role within the Operations team responsible for leading Standard BioTools MRP optimization with Microsoft AX and D365 supporting Manufacturing Planning and Procurement.
- Provide support to Reagent, Instrument and Service Planning teams to help optimize the MRP tools to improve data quality, accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in the migration from Microsoft AX to D365 system by providing testing and feedback to the project team
- Learn new D365 Planning and Procurement ERP functionality to enhance the Supply Chain capabilities
- Using developed tools, execute on processes to load and update any necessary Master Data changes in the ERP.
- Coordinate cross functionally to perform routine data updates to maintain the business needs.
- Provide first-line ERP support to Planning and Procurement team members while explaining the system and the logic applied
- Participate in drafting and distributing various processes and tasks, and related training
- Use KPIs to prioritize tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience using ERP data systems with MRP in a manufacturing environment
- A university degree in a field related to inventory management or a combination of college education and experience
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft AX or D365
- Experience implementing new ERP systems and functionality
- Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and the basics of project management is an asset
- A team player with organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to simplify and explain concepts, a focus on customer service
- A keen interest in data analysis and optimizing system operations
- The ability to document, monitor and implement actions or corrections. The ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft
- Excel, PowerPoint, Word
