**Position Overview**

This position reports to the Principal Investigator and will be responsible for data quantification and analysis, cleaning and maintenance of lab space, assisting students with ongoing research activities.

**Position Description**

**Summary of Key Responsibilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):

- Quantify circadian parameters using Clocklab software, including phase shifts, freerunning period, activity profiles
- Analyze quantitative date using SigmaPlot by providing statistical output provided and publication-ready graphs to supervisor
- Quantify histology for cell counts, ROD, histological placement of brain implant
- Assist with lab activities (making buffers, cleaning glassware)

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, biology, or neuroscience
- Must demonstrate expertise with Clocklab software
- Must demonstrate experience with brightfield and epifluorescence microscopy including ImagePro Plus software
- Experience with histology techniques would be an asset
- An active IAUTP certificate (or eligibility to obtain) would be an asset
