to help launch a new Indigenous internship program - Crown Career Pathways
- This internship program has been developed in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action #92, which calls for increased employment opportunities for Indigenous peoples.

The program has been developed by Crown Investments Corporation and Saskatchewan’s Crown corporations to provide a mechanism to bridge Indigenous graduates from eligible post-secondary institutes into permanent employment opportunities with the Crown sector, provincial government or the private sector in Saskatchewan.
- We’re looking for a HR Intern who believes in teamwork and providing excellent service.

The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to gain experience in multiple areas of our Human Resources division, including Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Relations, Talent Development, Compensation & Job Evaluation, and Payroll & Benefits.

You will provide operational support in several ways, including, but not limited to:
- Assisting with HR related projects, programs and initiatives by conducting research, reviewing policies/procedures, drafting documentation and supporting implementation.-
- Supporting continuous improvement by actively participating in analyzing and identifying gaps and opportunities to improve support to the business.-
- Compiling information for routine requests and inquiries, resolving non-complex issues and supporting team members in the resolution of issues.-
- Assisting in analyzing metrics and reporting to identify trends.-
- Recommending changes to HR processes, policies and tools.-
- Attending career fairs or other HR events, assisting with setup, participating and engaging with attendees.-
- Performing general administrative responsibilities for the HR department.-
- Preparing, updating and revising HR related materials (documents, presentations, letters, meeting minutes, reports, course materials, etc.).-
- Performing reviews and payment of invoices and tracking and reporting of expenses.-
- Performing routine/standard transactions in the Human Resource Management System (HRMS).Are an effective collaborator who thinks beyond the role and seeks big picture solutions.-
- Are creative, action oriented, and have strong interpersonal skills.-
- Want to use your leadership skills for good - like actively supporting SGI’s culture, expanding your own learning and supporting your colleagues as they do the same.Self-declared Indigenous graduates, within two years following graduation, are eligible for the program. Interns are required to have graduated in a relevant field of study such as Business from a post-secondary institute in Saskatchewan as recognized by the Government of Saskatchewan.
