**Responsibilities**:

- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, interacting with them in a friendly and professional manner.
- Make every effort to be knowledgeable about our products, menus, and standards
- Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items, including daily specials, and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences and tastes.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company and legal standards.
- Monitor and observe guests’ dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service at the bar. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests or problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and stored.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as necessary.
- Remain accurate and accountable in the production of bar products.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the restaurant team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Practices the Sidebar Grill hospitality philosophy of “SER” (service, excellence, respect)
- Ensures compliance with workplace safety, food safety, company policies and other statutory regulations.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required by management.

Education and Qualification Requirements
- **High school diploma or equivalent.**:

- **Legal drinking age in the province of employment (19 years old).**:

- **Minimum 2-years bartending experience required.**:

- WHMIS training required - on premises training provided.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and mixology techniques.
- Understanding of responsible serving practices and compliance with liquor laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player, punctual for shifts and reliable to execute work as assigned.
- Outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
- Be able to communicate and understand our guests’ predominant language(s).
- Physical dexterity and endurance, with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects (up to 40lbs) and work in a noisy environment.
- Flexibility in work schedule, with availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by the restaurant.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
