We utilize Gmail, Google Chat, and Google Meet for quick, real-time communication to ensure we're all on the same page and questions are quickly answered. In addition, we have weekly team meetings to discuss what we've been working on, what's in the pipeline, and if there's anything we need help with.

All team members have full access to our office building, which includes a full kitchen, a gym, and a touch-screen coffee machine that makes 10+ different types of hot drinks In-office dress code is casual.

**About the Job**

As the Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks to support the Fongo Organization's various departments and levels. You will be the customer's first point of contact, acting as the liaison between the customer and internal departments to ensure their inquiries are answered, orders are fulfilled, and their requests are handled in a timely manner. In addition, you will fulfill and manage all of Fongo's order shipments. As we make changes, you will also help create and organize internal procedures and documents.

Type of role: Hybrid, remote 3-4 days and on-site 1-2 days a week.

Our office is in Waterloo, Ontario.

**What you will do**:

- Act as the customer ambassador and relay pertinent information to the internal teams, working together to provide timely solutions.
- Organizing, preparing, and fulfilling shipping orders from the office
- Answer customer inquiries about our products and services through various communication channels.
- Identifying root causes of customer's issues and escalations.
- Processing and responding to requests from regulatory and enforcement authorities.
- Gathering and organizing data to help with report creation upon request.
- Communicating on behalf of Fongo with external organizations
- Drive the Fongo mission and support business needs by working with the team across all departments.

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma or equivalentPreference is given to those with Office Administration Diploma.
- Proficient with computers, software, and online platforms. Windows or Mac operating system (your choice)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to quickly learn new software and processes
- Customer service skills - gather and understand client needs.
- You should be a people person who enjoys building strong relationships
- Great team player

**Bonus Qualifications (but in no way a deal breaker)**
- Knowledge of a ticketing system such as Zendesk
- Proficiency in French

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35,007.05-$47,000.00 per year
