**Overview of Position**:
The OnStar Marketing Communication Specialist plays a key role in driving the success of all OnStar advertising for GM Canada, with a particular emphasis on digital advertising. Reporting to the OnStar Marketing Communications Manager, the OnStar Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for coordinating with internal teams (both local and global) and agency partners to ensure timely and flawless execution for all required advertising projects.

**Key Activities**
- Support the execution of Canadian Go-To-Market Plans for OnStar’s three lines of business (OnStar brand, digital and fleet solutions) through advertising and communication activities including CRM, digital advertising, website, search, social, broadcast, influencers, dealer communications, partnerships, auto shows, internal & external Communications
- Coordinate with local and global teams to setup campaign tracking, along with the coordination and development of post campaign metrics
- Support the execution of CRM by attending status meetings, coordinating briefings and approvals, ensuring accuracy in campaign setup and deployment and management of ongoing metrics
- Manage timelines and status for all OnStar advertising campaigns to identify major deliverables and dependencies across functions and coordinate approvals with legal, brand and product teams to deliver requirements on time and with quality
- Liaise with various agency personnel, and team members in Canada and the US as appropriate to execute creative

**Required Skills and Experience**
- 3 to 5 years Marketing and/or Advertising experience with demonstrated knowledge of executing campaigns with traditional and digital communication tactics including social, web and digital advertising
- Understanding of marketing analytics, media planning/buying and social platforms
- Strong project management skills and can work independently
- Collaboration - ability to engage others through verbal and written communication to reach a common goal
- Drive for Results - Gets things done (High Capacity, High Quality Output, Quick Pace)
- Customer Orientation - seeks customer feedback to influence future projects
- Dealing with Ambiguity - Ability to effectively cope with change and act without having the total picture
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills

**Preferred Skills and Experience**
- Bilingual (English/French) language skills considered an asset

**Education and Training**
- Post-secondary diploma/degree required; University degree (Bachelor of Commerce / Business with major in Marketing or Advertising an asset) is preferred
