**WHAT WE NEED**

We are seeking a motivated **Property Manager** to be responsible for effectively managing groups of buildings in our portfolio. As a successful property manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all elements regarding the buildings and with the utmost professionalism and dedication.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Manage all aspects of the assigned buildings
- Manage tenant requests based on priority
- Lead a team of maintenance and cleaning employees
- Design and implement leasing and tenant retention strategies while minimizing vacancy rates
- Prepare and implement capex plans based on management requirements
- Communicate with suppliers, contractors and vendors
- Execute work orders and service contracts
- Strive to improve operational and financial efficiency
- Manage after hour emergencies as needed, including being present on site when deemed appropriate
- Spearhead the recruitment process of building staff as well as assume responsibility for the on-boarding, evaluation and recognition of these team members
- Conduct reoccurring staff meetings and team activities
- Ensure buildings are up to code and correct deficiencies
- Assist with the annual budgeting process
- Collaborate with accounting as needed while ensuring property management system is up to date

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- A Bachelor’s degree; ‪focus in Business Administration, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field is an asset.
- ‪A minimum of 3 years of residential property management experience or relevant experience
- Fully bilingual (French and English)
- A valid driver’s license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience managing team members
- Confident in taking initiative and making decisions
- Superior organizational, time management and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of applicable rental laws (Tribunal administratif du logement)
- Experience with Hopem property management software is preferred and an asset

- Diriger le processus de recrutement du personnel de maintenance et assumer la responsabilité de l’intégration, de l’évaluation et de la reconnaissance de ces membres de l’équipe
- Organiser des réunions du personnel et des activités d’équipe récurrentes
- S’assurer que les immeubles sont conformes aux normes et corriger les déficiences
- Participer au processus budgétaire annuel
- Collaborer avec le département comptable au besoin tout en s’assurant que le système de gestion immobilière est à jour

**CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS**
- Un baccalauréat ; une spécialisation en administration des affaires, en immobilier, en comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe est un atout
- Un minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en gestion de propriétés résidentielles ou une expérience pertinente
- Parfaitement bilingue (français et anglais)
- Un permis de conduire valide
