This role sits within LBC Capital, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.

As part of the Asset Management Group within LBC Capital, this role has the following priorities;
º Contribute in various facets of the collection and asset management process, with a focus on improving LBC Capital's collection efficiency and recovery rate.

º Analyse portfolio data and deliver reporting required for portfolio monitoring, management decision making, and risk assessments.

º Plays a key role in in restructuring distressed transactions including the remarketing of repossessed equipment.

º Communicates directly with the Vendor/Remarketers/Syndication partners working with the internal teams (Sales, Credit, Legal and Operations) to gain a thorough understanding of the transaction.

º Provides superior customer service to all parties, internal and external. Ensures compliance to company policies and procedures.

º Participates actively on key initiatives within the group.

**Responsibilities**:
Main Responsibilities:
º Assist LBC Capital's Account Executives in variable facets of transaction processing, with a focus on improving LBC Capital's time to approval of financing opportunities.

º Communicates directly with the Vendor/ Dealer/Broker/Customer working with the internal teams (Sales, Credit, Legal and Operations) to gain a thorough understanding of the transaction.

º Provides superior customer service to all parties, internal and external. Ensures compliance to company policies and procedures.

º Participates actively on key initiatives within the group.

º Perform analysis of customers situation (financial statements, credit bureau, collateral gap) to make informed decision and recommendations on financing requests.

º Develop dashboard and reporting tools to drive proactive discussions with sales managers.

º Scores transactions and communicates credit decisions to LBC Capital's partners.

º Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks while working with tight deadlines.

º Enters information into various systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

º Evaluate the effectiveness of our processed, communications and make recommendations to ensure the continual improvement of the team.

**Qualifications**:
º 2-3 years' experience preferably within the commercial financial industry

º Good team player

º University degree

º Ability to think outside of the box and creatively manage stressful day-to-day tasks and deadlines

º Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
º Financial analysis skills;
º Summarizing skills;
º Autonomous, sense of initiative and ability to learn with peers or independently;
