**The Opportunity**

The major purpose of this position is to oversee the operation of the international student community college partnership ensuring all goals are met based on the organization’s strategic plans and the goals set by the Partnership Steering Committee.

This position will ensure the efficient and profitable growth of the public-private partnership, focusing on quality and student success.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Leadership and Vision**:

- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet Company goals while providing expertise and guidance on international operations projects and systems.
- Active contributor to the Executive and International Partnership Leadership Teams.
- Act as a champion of educational operations quality for international students and faculty
- Ensure Career Services meets student needs while improving internship and job placement performance for each Campus.
- Work with the Executive Team on setting strategic objectives and goals for the entire organization and support the team in the achievement of these goals.

**Partnership Management**
- Establish and maintain excellent professional relationships with the educational delivery partner.
- Participate and play a leadership role in partnership joint steering committee, and other joint committees.
- Work with the partner to ensure that strategic goals and operational plans are in alignment between each organization.
- Work with the partner to decide on programs to deliver that best fit the local markets and have both student demand and employer demand for graduates.
- Create long term planning forecasts and annual enrollment targets in conjunction with the partner.
- Ensure adherence to the terms of partnership Agreements.
- Work with the partner to ensure compliance with provincial government regulations, Quality Assurance Framework, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada standards, and Standards of Practice for International Education.
- Regular outreach and networking events. including in-person meetings with key partner personnel.

**Strategic Planning**
- Set short-term and long-term goals for the international partnership.
- Define and implement an organizational structure to support profitable growth.
- Manage budgets and ensure that all international student campuses and departments achieve their goals.
- Create new job positions and descriptions to support the needs of the division and growth.
- Implement training and development plans for managers and create succession plans.
- Participate in capacity planning and scheduling, in coordination with facilities management, to align the growth of facilities and enrollment within the maximum capacities defined by Ministry of Colleges and Universities.

***Employee Leadership**
- Hire and train direct reports to ensure that direct reports are adequately skilled and equipped to perform their duties.
- Foster professional development in the interest of personal and Company growth.
- Conduct performance evaluation of direct reports.
- Review Quality Assurance Survey results with the Operations team each trimester.
- Partner with Education Managers and Program Coordinators to ensure that Instructor orientation and on-boarding results in Instructors being effectively trained and have the information they require.
- Work with the Vice President, Academic to ensure standardization of curriculum delivery.
- Visit each partnership campus and engage with employees on a regular basis.

***Supporting Student Academic Success & Customer Service**
- Ensure that the Operations team meets the educational, physical, social, and special needs of students.
- Ensure that students receive adequate support services as defined by partnership Agreement and as defined by government directives.
- Ensure that programs are following the established sequence of courses and exam timetables and that students graduate and complete diploma and certification exams to meet graduate and placement standards
- Work with Academics team to ensure that courses updates are deployed effectively and an in timely manner.
- Provide support (including advice, morale and coaching), direction, and leadership to the operations team to assist in resolving student and employee concerns.
