**OVERVIEW**

**Location**:Hybrid based in Vancouver, BC

**Expected Start Date**: Mid-January 2023

**Duration**: 4 months, 20 - 40 hours per week

**_ Note_**_: _Preference will be given to students with domestic status and _must be enrolled in a program at a Canadian accredited post-secondary institution during the work placement period, as per wage subsidy requirements._

**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**

Reporting to the VP of Stakeholder Communications, the Digital Marketing & Communications Intern works closely with other members of the Strategic Communications team, as well as team members in our soil health and crop protection business divisions.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Support, manage, and analyze social media channels, and content calendars
- Monitor and post on Terramera’s corporate and consumer social media channels (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube) daily
- Monitor and prepare content/copywrite for the Terramera website(s) and upload content using the website platform
- Create and optimize paid advertisements on social media in support of sales and other campaigns (i.e. Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads)
- Help drive traffic to Terramera’s websites by creating and promoting video content, blog posts and product-focused content

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Interest in delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns
- Solid understanding of social marketing
- Experience preparing and editing content for online, publications, documents, social media, reports and communication materials for various audiences
- Experience with social ad platforms, specifically Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Twitter Ads

**ASSETS**
- Knowledge of HubSpot, Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Premier Pro (After Effects an asset)
- Experience or education with inbound marketing, sales and service software
- Interest or experiences in photography or video production
- Video editing experience
