**The Collections and Program Assistant will**:

- Assist instructors during creative workshops, for youth and/or families, in one of the following areas: visual arts, pottery (hand-building), drama, media arts, fashion, creative writing and/or storyboard design, craft, or music, and _Procreate_ instruction from a working knowledge.
- Coordinate with the Curator and support administrative duties that contribute to the success of exhibitions, public programs, and events.
- Work with the Curator to develop new and unique exhibitions and public programs.
- Support the Curator with collections management duties as required.
- Want to have a positive impact through community initiatives and want to share your love for art and making, while supporting Lynnwood Arts mandate.

**Qualifications**:
1. Experience in and/or knowledge of arts-based programming.

2. Ability to work with a team, take initiative, and set priorities.

3. Demonstrated ability to adapt in an active work environment.

4. Respectful and compassionate in dealings with children and youth.

5. Creative and energetic person who likes exploring new ideas.

6. Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

7. Preferred CPR/First Aid certification.

8. Have or be willing to obtain a “Vulnerable Sector Screening”.

9. Preferred knowledge of _Procreate_ software.

**Contract duration**:July 10 to Sept. 2 (8 Weeks)

**Schedule**:35 hours per week; combination of in-gallery and WFH

**Rate**: $21 /hour

**Application requirements**:Age 15-30 and legally entitled to work in Canada. Funded by **Canada Summer Jobs.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour
