Mississauga, Canada Teng Inc. Full time

Knowledge of the oil & gas sector as well as a proficiency in Terms and Conditions, & contract language is considered an asset.
- Tender field construction packages for Client projects.
- Support and develop and endorse RFQ packages.
- Represent Contracting at the tender kick off meetings and facilitate as required.
- Act as interface between the vendors and Clients during the tender process.
- Receive and open the tenders; Review the tenders commercially and prepare the preliminary bid evaluation.
- Support the bid clarification process.
- Finalize bid evaluation and award recommendation.
- Provide QA/QC function for the tender process.
- Establish and maintain relationship with various vendors
- Obtain pricing for Client goods and material as part of the project team.
- Provide contracting & procurement support for field execution.
- Interface with internal project teams, external clients project managers and procurement teams.
- Support and maintain various TENG Contracting & Procurement processes and documents.
- Lead, coach and ensure organization compliance to set processes and standards.
- Review, Evaluate & Approve vendors for Teng work.
- Maintain Teng’s Internal contractor data base.
- Provide expediting support as required including vendor follow-up, fabrication and delivery status.
- Provide on-going project services support with respect to resource planning for the organization.
- Will support data entry and development of monthly cost reports for use by Project Managers.
- Other project services support tasks as directed by the group leader.

Additional Requirements:

- This is an entry level position, and no experience is necessary.
- Post-Secondary education considered an asset; specifically in the fields of Business, Engineering, Project Management or Contracting.
- Basic engineering, project management and/or construction knowledge considered an asset.
- Takes Ownership of tasks and deliverables.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of output deliverables.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and embrace change as required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to effectively prioritize while meeting deadlines.
- Experience communicating with clients and vendors in both an engineering office, project management process and construction environment
- Strong written and verbal communication/organizational skills.
