Managing Funeral Home Director

We are currently looking for a licensed Managing Funeral Home Director to join our team at the Oshawa location with minimum 5 years of experience working in funeral home.
- Arrange, co-ordinate and/or facilitate activities associated with family needs such as services, transfers, embalming, preparation of human remains and any other activities associated with their needs.
- Present and sell products and services to at-need and pre-need families and assist them in their decisions for disposition of human remains
- Respond to information and service inquiries
- Maintain funeral home facility and vehicles as required
- Perform other sundry tasks as assigned
**Hours/Days of Work**:
- Schedule is a combination of days, evenings and weekends
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Funeral Director License (minimum two years of experience) is the must
- Funeral directing and arranging experience
- Able to provide funeral services to various faiths and cultures
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Professional demeanour
- Keen eye for detail and ability to multi-task
- A valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license and clean driving record
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Aftercare and/or bereavement training would be considered an asset.
**Salary**: From $85,000.00 per year
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
