**Position Overview**

A successful Desjardins Insurance Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Financial Services Representative
- Desjardins Insurance Agent Team Member (insurance sales experience required). We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. **Requirements**:

- Successful track record of selling life and living benefits products and meeting sales goals/quotas
- Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
- Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented
- Proactive in problem-solving
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to agent
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Property & Casualty license (OTL-must be able to obtain)
- Life & Health license (LLQP-must have)

Qualifications to be employees of a Desjardins Insurance agent in Canada are established by each independent contractor agent and may require successful completion of licensing requirements and training programs. Desjardins Insurance agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. Desjardins Insurance agents’ employees are not employees of Desjardins Insurance or Certas Home and Auto Insurance Company or Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company or any of its affiliates.
