As a leading real estate development company, we are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to handle crucial accounting tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment and recording of invoices and receipts.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized filing systems for supporting documents, both in hard copy and electronic formats, following company policies and safeguarding confidentiality.
- Take charge of inventory management, including purchase tracking, sales records, and stock reconciliation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and vendors to gather financial information and address inquiries efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
**Qualifications**:
- 2-year College diploma in accounting or a related field.
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper in the construction industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high transaction volumes and documentation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for seamless collaboration with stakeholders.
- Experience with inventory management.
