Full Job Description

Saveska Inc, is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. We are a residential remodelling company specializing in Basement, Kitchen and Bathroom remodels in the Hamilton and surrounding areas. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
- Take photos and video of our ongoing renovations on the field, before and after photos and other content.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Engage with audiences through timely and professional responses to comments and messages.
- Analyze social media data and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- Adapt to changes in social media algorithms, especially as they pertain to video content, to optimize reach and engagement.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns
- Track and report on key metrics to measure the success of social media efforts
- Superior organizational skills and a thorough attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Self-motivated and the ability to take initiative.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proven work experience of 2 years as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of short-form video content created for social media platforms.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Proficient in using Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track social media performance
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems is a plus

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
