Office Administrator

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Ensure a smooth and functional office environment for a small accounting and tax practice
- Reception/telephone duties
- Support/research/respond to client and other general inquires
- Maintain office filing - both electronic and paper
- Maintain client database
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail
- Coordinate office supply ordering
- Client bookkeeping and payroll processing when necessary
**Experience/Job Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar roles
- QuickBooks - Both desktop and online versions
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- TaxCycle or similar tax preparation software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to respond promptly to client and office requests
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work productively on several projects at once while coping with frequent interruptions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Professionalism, maturity, and judgment and maintaining a professional business appearance
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Creative and analytical thinker
