Hexagon is seeking to hire a Strategic Account Manager for its AcceleratorKMS Business. Hexagon ALI is the world’s leading provider of enterprise engineering software enabling smarter design and operation of plants, ships and offshore facilities. The Strategic Accounts Manager will be responsible for strategic direction, client relationships and global revenue for assigned Strategic Account(s). They will create, develop, and execute sales strategies for assigned account(s) as well as generate accurate and realistic sales forecasts. The Strategic Account Manager will deliver consistent revenue performance and growth (white space) while providing direction to global and local account sales and delivery team members.

**Responsibilities**
- Provides strategic leadership to expand opportunities within assigned accounts
- Develops Strategic Account plans (strategy, objectives, activities, milestones and resource allocation). Works with global Strategic Account Program Manager to manage the account plan
- Establishes appropriate relationships with customers at the right business level, engages with senior stakeholders and partners to build strategic relationships at the C-level
- As a trusted advisor, has continuous strategic conversations on customer needs and provides value-added insights
- Manages all aspects of the sales cycle, including development of the customer relationship, prospecting/identifying new opportunities and the implementation of the account plans
- Controls costs to ensure that expenditure is being managed in line with budgets
- Develops and delivers accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives.
- Works with sales support staff, pre and post sales resources to further customer relationships forecast, track account opportunities, and close the deal
- Drives global pricing/bids/blanket strategies and ensures consistency

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
- Minimum of 10 years of complex sales experience, including at least 3 years in major account sales
- Strong opportunity development and follow-up skills, ability to close the sale, and strong negotiation and relationship management abilities
- Proven track-record of successfully collaborating in a cross-functional, matrixed organization to build organizational alignment and engagement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior decision-makers at both the customer and internal management
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and cultivate good working relationships with people in different functions and business divisions, as well as with people from different cultural backgrounds, both internally and externally to Hexagon
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time domestically and internationally
