**Primary Focus**

TruHarvest Meat Packers is a meat packing house that has been in operation for almost two years now. We are looking for a results driven individual to help us realize our full sales potential. If you like a challenging, but rewarding work environment come and join our growing team

In conjunction with the rest of the Sales Team, the Associate’s role is critical for ensuring an increase in sales and customer satisfaction. The responsibility includes identifying and addressing issues relating to sales and customers, marketing and branding of product(s) and prioritizing tasks.

**Accountabilities / Direct**
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product descriptions.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Increase brand awareness by visiting new and existing clients.
- Works in compliance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other relevant governmental legislation
- Work in compliance with Company’s policies and procedures.
- Provides content for company website on a frequent basis.
- Supports and helps develop brand marketing strategies by building business cases and provides analytics to assess brands, sku’s, to support brand and innovation projects.
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Other duties may be assigned from time to time

**Required Skills / Experience & Abilities**
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- The ability to plan/schedule in coordination with production and sales teams.
- 5 years minimum experience working in a manufacturing environment with in-depth marketing/sales exposure. Meat industry experience is preferred but not required, or other food-related distributional experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Skills: Customer Service, Prospecting, Negotiations, Presentation, Driving for Results

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
