**What you'll do as a Library Relations Manager**:

- Manage customers, primarily based in the Canadian region
- Maintain high quality, proactive contact with assigned customers
- Provide assigned customers with a direct point of contact within SirsiDynix to ensure that SirsiDynix is meeting the customers’ Support, Services, and Sales needs
- Coordinate activities with multiple internal departments to ensure service needs are met and complex client issues are resolved
- Help customers maximize the value of the software by ensuring that they are aware of new releases as well as existing features that can help them meet their expressed goals
- Identify customers at risk for retention and manage inter-departmental efforts to retain customers
- Expedite the resolution of incidents and issues that require attention while acting as a point of escalation
- Communicate client product needs to product and software development
- Present upcoming development and company direction to key accounts
- Coordinate virtual and onsite visits to clients and attend assigned conferences and user group meetings (may include up to 5% travel)
- Identify sales opportunities and communicate to the appropriate sales team

**What you'll need to be a successful Library Relations Manager**:
**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Outstanding presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to facilitate group discussion
- Terrific interpersonal skills
- Superb listening skills
- Negotiation skills
- Thorough customer call and risk documentation
- Fluency in French (both verbal and written) preferred

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience
- Graduate degree in Library Science, Library and Information Studies preferred

**Experience**:

- 4+ years of increasing responsibility in technical support, educational support, or sales support area; at least one or more years in a lead/senior role is preferred
- 2+ years experience with library software
- 1-2 years industry experience preferred

**Hiring Salary Range**:

- $80,000 to $100,000 CAD salary range depending on qualifications
