**KEY AND PERIODIC ACTIVITIES**
**The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative but not all-inclusive**:
**Primary**
- Lead the design, development, implementation, promotion, delivery and evaluation of innovative and fully integrated diversity and inclusion and accessibility action plans and programs
- Develop, recommend, promote and coordinate activities and projects related to diversity, employment equity and inclusion, official languages, accessibility and multiculturalism
- Develop metrics and key performance indicators, and collect, analyze and evaluate the data to interpret, measure and ensure the success of the diversity, employment equity and inclusion and related programs
- Provide training and education to and raise awareness of employees and supervisors, in particular, hiring managers and Human Resource Business Partners, related to diversity and inclusion, accessibility and related programs and policies
- Prepare corporate reports in accordance with legislative requirements related to employment equity, official languages, accessibility, multiculturalism, and health and safety
- Collaborate with the Coordinator, Training and Development, to develop workshops, training, tools and resources to enhance diversity, employment equity and inclusion and accessibility education efforts
- Ensure DCC complies with federal legislative requirements by researching best practices pertaining to diversity, employment equity and inclusion, official languages, accessibility and multiculturalism
- Coordinate, promote and advance the diversity and inclusion and accessibility strategies and action plans in collaboration with management and employees
- Provide support to other human resources programs and projects, as required, and prepare and implement recommendations to enhance programs and initiatives
- Develop and maintain effective relationships within DCC, and with industry, the Client-Partners and/or stakeholders

**Other**
- Identify possible barriers protected and minority employee groups face, and research, propose and implement effective corrective measures
- Participate in and represent DCC at information and learning sessions related to federal legislative requirements
- Participate in external associations and organizations specific to diversity and inclusion and accessibility
- Prepare data analytics, presentations and recommendations for review by senior management
- May supervise direct reports
- Other duties as assigned

**SKILLS**
**General and Specific Knowledge**
- Best practices, methods, trends and legislation in human resources management, with a focus on diversity, employment equity and inclusion, official languages, accessibility, multiculturalism, and human resources policies
- Federal human resources policies and procedures
- Project management principles

**Formal Education and/or Certification(s) and Experience**
- **Minimum**: college diploma in human resources management with six years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent
- **Preferred**: university degree in human resources management and/or Certified Human Resources Professional designation

**Abilities**
- Use applicable computer software and operating systems, including Excel and the Human Resources Information System
- Research and write reports, presentations, and training materials
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Be bilingual-English and French (mandatory)

**DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP**
- Provide functional advice and guidance to employees and managers
- May lead and manage direct reports

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
