Payroll Team Lead

This position will be fully office-based, in our Vancouver airport office.

**Requirements**:

- Process bi-weekly payroll within in-house payroll software
- Review and approve payroll records
- Process and input new hire information, pay rate adjustments, vacations, payroll adjustments, and resignations into the payroll system while cross-referencing against supporting documentation
- Prepare manual cheques with appropriate tax deductions when needed
- Respond to payroll queries related to pay, deductions, tax withholding, and benefits
- Prepare and remit CRA Remittances after each payroll run
- Reconcile and submit Union Dues and Benefit Premiuims
- Stay up-to-date on employment standards and collective bargaining agreements
- Other duties as required to assist with organizational needs

**Qualifications**
- Experience leading a team
- Thorough knowledge of payroll practices and CRA legislation
- Strong computer proficiency in payroll software and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to effectively work in a team environment and independently
- Payroll Compliance Practicioner (PCP) is considered an asset

**Salary: $65,000 - $70,000**
