Paid Media Performance Manager

**Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX**:
- As a Paid Media Performance Manager, you are responsible for managing the Paid Media programs to ensure ecommerce traffic and revenue targets are met. You will be responsible for aligning strategy and guiding an in-house team in execution and optimizations. Your deep understanding of the media landscape and ecosystem will allow you to plan, optimize, and report on campaigns that hit our business objectives.
- This role can be hired remote within Canada. Business operations occur on Pacific Standard Timezone (PST).
**Meet Your Future Team**:
- The Digital Commerce team is responsible for developing our eCommerce channel and all consumer-facing digital touchpoints for Arc’teryx. It is a high-performing team responsible for direct-to-consumer eCommerce (strategy & operations), Digital Marketing (CRM & paid), Digital Analytics, Digital User Experience, Digital Merchandising and Digital Product Content. The team works closely with many other teams, including Brand and Marketing Operations.
**If you were the Paid Media Performance Manager now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:
- Creating dashboards and reports to monitor performance and share results within the organization
- Analyzing and assessing the performance of campaigns, using quantitative and qualitative data to provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Working with Paid Digital Leads to set-up tests and experiments to identify new ways to grow audiences, improve KPIs and meet objectives
- Overseeing affiliate marketing program and integrate into larger ecommerce forecasting
- Working with Digital Analytics to create yearly forecasts of digital performance for traffic and revenue
- Managing budgets across a variety of ad programs and working with finance to accrue and reconcile monthly spending
- Building strong relationships with outside vendors and agencies, keeping up to date with media trends and bringing new opportunities to the business
- Supporting the development of advanced testing methodologies such as incrementality and MMM

- Scaling performance media strategies into 3-5 year growth plans in line with company targets
- Growing and leading an in-house performance marketing execution team
- Running advanced testing methodologies to measure long term impact of paid media programs
- Developing strategies to build toward an omnichannel future
**Are you our next Paid Media Performance Manager?**:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- You have 5+ years' experience in Paid Digital Advertising Strategy
- You have 5+ years’ experience in standard ad buying platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Pinterest)
- You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google Marketing Platforms (Campaign Manager, DV360, SA360, Ads Data Hub, Analytics) and Adobe Analytics
- You have experience designing dashboards within a visualization tool (Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc)
- You have a deep understanding of performance media tactics across Google, Meta, Bing, Pinterest and other platforms that allows you to understand the media ecosystem and plan campaigns to hit business goals
- You have demonstrated ability to adjust strategies and budgets based on performance to maximize results
- You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
