Our Sarnia branch is growing and we want you to join We have an opportunity for a motivated individual who is a self-starter as an Outside Sales Representative. This position will be reporting to the Branch Manager and is in direct contact with regular and prospective customers. This individual will also be responsible for promoting DNOW, providing information and services to generate sales, and create customer satisfaction to ensure a competitive edge in the industry.

**What will you bring?**
- Experience in serving customers in an Inside or Outside Sales capacity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with either industry specific (sales, piping, valves, fittings, etc.) or general business (sales, leadership, customer management) is preferred.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers using negotiating and selling skills to maintain and improve DNOW’s service.
- Personal organization and life management in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is an asset.
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Has the ability to work effectively in a team environment and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.

**What will you do?**
- Cultivate key business relationships with customers in a professional manner: solicit orders, maintaining good rapport, meet requirements when promised, resolving concerns, following up to ensure satisfaction, and informing on value added products and services.
- Investigate current and forecasted requirements and introduce available products/services.
- Handle other duties within the branch as required, such as receiving freight, order desk, field deliveries.
- Demonstrate and promote a safe work environment for all employees, customers, vendors and other DNOW partners, using company safety policies and procedures.
- Compares pricing and market conditions to determine reasons for receiving or losing a lost opportunity.
- Update and maintain an Area Analysis which provides an overview of DNOW’s key target accounts for the area, new opportunities, position in the market, competitive analysis, and area activity and notable market updates.
- Work with Branch Manager to ensure time and efforts are being appropriately applied against the outlined the Sales Strategy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
