Communications and Social Media Administrator

**Summary of Duties and Responsibilities**
- Plan and schedule social media content for long and short-term objectives.
- Coordinate, create, and place content for Five Oaks social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Manage online social media messaging and conversations and respond to issues with immediacy.
- Develop and implement promotions and communication strategies encompassing programs, donor cultivation, solicitation and retention, social media campaigns and event plans.
- Create compelling communications to ensure strong engagement with our audience and work with vendors to complete printed materials to completion.
- Design timely and compelling promotions and communications that focus on members values and match them to Five Oaks’ priorities.
- Write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, website copy, and brochures and press releases.
- Optimize donor database with regular updates to ensure effective communication strategies. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of donor records.
- Research and recommend new marketing and communications opportunities.
- Collaborate with staff, members, interfaith and community partners to achieve shared outcomes.
- Work with advisors and vendors to manage keywords and search engine optimization (SEO), track statistics and analytics.
- Analyze customer feedback and ensure avenues for appropriate feedback generation.
- Perform other duties necessary to support the success of development for Five Oaks.

**Education and/or Experience**
- Three years of professional social media experience with a marketing, communications, or creative design background.
- Strong language and communication skills, including proofing and editing. Self-starter with ability to monitor, organize, and manage multiple projects.
- Proven ability to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Proficient knowledge of graphic software including the components of Microsoft Office, and social media scheduling software, and online design software.
- Ability to provide an opinion and explanation, receive critique, coordinate messaging, and create design balancing multiple dynamics.
- Excellent planning, organizational, collaboration, resiliency, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential materials and situations with professionalism, sensitivity, and discretion.
- Self-directed with high capacity to manage multiple priorities and timelines, with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and strong aptitude and proven experience in fundraising systems.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
