Job Description: Chief Executive Officer

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement the company's strategic plans and objectives
- Provide leadership and guidance to the executive team and employees
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization
- Ensure the company's financial performance and growth
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors

- Overall Management of the Cake Faculty’s business activities.
- Determine the company’s mission and strategic direction as conveyed through policies

- Oversee marketing campaigns both offline and online.
- Determine growth opportunities for the company and oversee its expansion.

- Develop training programs based on knowledge gained through previous in-depth

expertise in baking related business environment.
- Act as lead consultant in industry-specific webinars, seminars, conferences and any

industry events organized by the company.
- Represent the company in the industry and liaise with all corporate partners and other

directors.

- Skills requirements:

- Required education:

- A university degree or college diploma.
- Required work experience:

- 7 years or more of work experience in an executive role with demonstrated budget

preparation and financial planning experience.
- Proven experience managing teams in multiple locations.
- At least 3 years of experience managing a confectionery company or bakery with

proven business strategies and planning results.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Ability to facilitate a high-performance managerial team.
- Excellent public relations skills.
- Well-developed communication and negotiation skills.
- Substantial expertise regarding baking and cake decoration and design.
- Must be highly self motivated.
- Possess food safety certifications.
- Having industry-related certifications is preferred.
- Having a keen appreciation of African palates and demonstrated knowledge of the

Afro-Caribbean sociographic in Canada are preferred.
