About the Role

This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of discretion. As the Chief Administrative Officer in the Government of Canada - Central, you will be responsible for allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or executive staff, delegate authority, and create optimal working conditions
  • Manage events and conduct performance reviews

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to multitask. This position involves managing a team of 5-10 people.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and judgment
  • Organizational and time management skills
