Chief People Officer for Global Expansion

Polar Performance Materials, a leading specialty materials manufacturing company, is seeking an exceptional Chief People Officer to spearhead the growth of its global operations. As a strategic business partner, you will design and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that drives organizational excellence, fosters innovation, and promotes diversity.
With 10+ years of HR leadership experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in multinational organizations, you possess the expertise to build HR functions from scratch, including systems and processes. Your proven success in workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement will be instrumental in shaping the company's culture and growth trajectory.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, and strong leadership and coaching qualities. Experience in private-equity-backed environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a forward-looking people strategy that aligns with the company's mission and values
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team
- BUILD THE HR FUNCTION FROM THE GROUND UP, INCLUDING SELECTING AND IMPLEMENTING HR TECHNOLOGIES TO STREAMLINE OPERATIONS
- DRIVE RECRUITMENT FOR KEY ROLES, INCLUDING ENGINEERING, R&D, AND QUALITY POSITIONS
- LEAD WORKFORCE PLANNING, ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN, AND ROLE DEFINITION TO SUPPORT STRATEGIC GOALS
- CHAMPION DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION INITIATIVES TO CREATE AN INCLUSIVE AND INNOVATIVE WORKPLACE
