Front Desk Supervisor

The Front Desk Supervisor will supervise and assist with the Front Desk, Bell Services and Switchboard operations. This includes: ensure the maintenance of financial controls and compliance with the hotel standards; act as the Manager on Duty; coordinate with other departments to ensure quality of service is provided to all guests; handle special requests; ensure the health & safety of all guests during their shift and resolve guest concerns or any problems that may arise. Most importantly, the Front Desk Supervisor and his/her team will provide ultimate service and courtesy to all guests from the time of registration to the time of departure.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary in hospitality or tourism is preferred
- 2 years of previous hotel front desk experience along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written English skills are a necessity, secondary language an asset
- Experience with Hilton OnQ system is an asset
- Able to make leadership decisions with regard to guest service and hotel issues independently
- Able to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands
- Proven ability to lead and motivate Team Members
