**Job description**:
Rowand LLP is looking for an entry-level full-time Intellectual Property legal assistant or clerk with an excellent eye for detail, strong time management skills, and effective collaboration skills. This position is part of a team of IP assistants providing the full range of key supports to professionals, with a strong focus on patent and trademark prosecution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing incoming correspondence on patent and trademark matters and docketing associated deadlines
- Monitoring patent and trademark due dates
- Corresponding with clients and adhering to the firm’s client service standards
- Submitting electronic bills to clients using various electronic billing systems, such as Tymetrix and Serengeti
- Managing accounting and billing duties including generating WIP lists and AR lists using Soluno

**Qualifications**:

- Legal Assistant Diploma/Certificate, Law Clerk Diploma, or relevant combination of education and work experience
- High quality oral and written communications skills, including the ability to correspond directly with clients
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to handle high-volume workloads
- Experience working with accounting software, entering disbursements, and generating invoices is an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
