**Reports To**: Executive Director

The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) is a not-for-profit organization that supports the city’s 162 Community Leagues. Our mission is to engage, develop and connect Edmonton Community Leagues in building healthy neighbourhoods.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**League Support**
- Assist and advise Leagues, individually and collectively, regarding building energy efficiency, green building technologies and practices, renewable energy technology and climate adaptation
- Organize opportunities for Leagues to network and work on sustainability related projects together
- Support, facilitate and build capacity for the engagement of Community League board members in sustainability related issues and projects
- Promote and highlight League-led sustainability and climate projects

**Advisory Work**
- Provide support to the EFCL Community Planning and Sustainability Working Group, EFCL Board of Directors and Community Leagues, keeping them informed on arising issues of sustainability and climate resiliency

**Partnering Work**
- Ensure EFCL input to City administration and City Council is effectively delivered through written and oral presentations as needed
- Maintain communications and positive working relationships with City administration, City Council and Community Leagues

**Operational Support**
- Support the work of the Executive Director, Board of Directors and EFCL staff where sustainability and climate resilience is concerned
- Assist with EFCL general meetings and special events

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Education or experience in environmental sciences, sustainable energy or a related discipline
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience managing projects, programs and events
- Excellent interpersonal and volunteer management skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including communications planning that allow for strong collaborative and facilitation
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Experience working with Community Leagues

**Job Type**: Full-time (30-37.5 hrs/week)

**Salary**: $55,965 - $66,638.32 based on experience and qualifications.

**Benefits**: Following a probation period of three months, the successful applicant will qualify for EFCL benefits and retirement plans.

**Schedule and Working Environment**: Four days per week (Monday to Thursday/Tuesday to Friday), rotating every six months. In order to meet the needs of the organization, some evening and weekend work will be required at times). The EFCL is a hybrid working environment where we have a blended model of working from home and the office.
