**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, the Generalist, People and Culture will focus on employee engagement, talent management, learning and general Human Resources activities as they align to the enhancement of our culture and people at Sofina.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Play a key role in the execution of projects related to the development of people and culture targeting employee experience and engagement.
- Provides analysis and trends as it relates to employee data specifically on recruitment, turnover, and engagement.
- Perform exit interviews with employees and manage exit interview process and data.
- Support evolution and execution of Onboarding process, program and its compliance.
- Create, support and share communications related to Team accountabilities, calendars and timelines.
- Partner with Field HR team on engagement initiatives.
- Produce data reports on turnover, demographics, learning and development activities.
- Utilize employee survey portal, educate managers on its use and available tools to drive effectiveness.
- Support and attend job fairs with universities and colleges to promote the company.
- Provides support to Operations human resources team regarding talent acquisition systems, processes and vendors.
- Provides HR generalist support for salaried employees including:
− Responding to employee and manager inquiries on HR related matters.

− Manage HR related interventions, stay interviews and other projects upon request of the

Business.
- Collaborating with other Human Resources members on special projects.
- Partnering with the business to manage Talent Management Cycle activities.
- Collaborate with team on completion and debriefing of behavioral assessments.
- Coordinate and support culture initiatives as required including Sofina Leadership Summit, People Day activities, etc.
- Support Service Award program - coordinate listings, liaise with vendor, ensure success of award delivery, manage invoicing and field ad hoc questions.
- Oversee employee recognition platform and coordinate programs and events.
- Support, develop and facilitate internal training events and programs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of corporate HR experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with employees and external contacts at all levels, demonstrating strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Prior working knowledge of LMS, HCM/HRIS - experience with Ceridian Dayforce is preferred.
- Articulate Storyline/360 a plus.
- Must possess experience with office automation tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database software.
- Ability to travel within the GTA and Nationally.

Normal office working hours.
Hybrid but need to be flexible.
