Project Manager

**Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans
- Coordinating Suppliers & Delivery Schedules
- Provide updates regarding progress, cost, change orders, RFI's, workload and material requirements
- Document all costs and ensure that expenses never exceed the construction budget
- Direct involvement and construction representation for the duration of projects
- Preparation of RFI’s, quotations, proposals, claims and related correspondence and issue resolution
- Assist in developing best construction practices and implementing on-site
- Communicating and negotiating directly with clients and designers on a daily basis
- Preparation of master and detailed schedules
- Responsible for delivering projects on schedule and on budget
- Update clients on construction progress through presentations and client meetings
- Other duties as requested.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Minimum 5 years Canadian construction experience
- Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline
- Expert communication skills that include active listening, the ability to have difficult conversations, precise writing and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of tendering process, contracts, drawings and construction practices preferred
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
- Action oriented individual with a natural drive towards results
- Access to own vehicle and a good driving record is required
- Estimating and quantity takeoff experience
Remuneration is based on qualifications/experience.

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
