**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Verify existing building conditions for accuracy to the shop drawings
- Prepare detailed as-built surveys and produce project control documentation
- Review as-built details for conformance to the shop drawings
- Complete detailed site layouts
- Support the Project Manager in completing site related tasks
- Assist with completing, updating, and filing of project documentation
- Assist with maintaining project schedules
- Participate in project meetings when required
- Troubleshoot and maintain survey equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
- The roll will be approximately 25% in the field and 75% in the office

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Post secondary education in a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 years of construction/surveying experience
- Proficiency in GPS/Total Station is required
- Experience using Leica survey equipment is preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Revit considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with architectural and structural concepts of construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret building blueprints
- Experience laying out and shooting intricate building details
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
- A desire to learn and continually develop
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize deadlines, track status and facilitate progress on multiple projects
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Driver’s license is required
- Willingness and ability to travel out of town to perform work is necessary

Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
