Service Coordinator

Raven Group of Companies offers a variety of commercial flat roofing services including, new and re-roofing services, architectural sheet metal systems along with service and maintenance.

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize clear lines of communication and treat others with dignity and respect.
- Answer/respond to client inquiries and requests related to the service department.
- Enter information into departmental databases, spreadsheets, and software.
- Monitor Service Reports, review work orders, and report weekly on departmental progress.
- Establish and maintain employee working schedules.
- Prioritize, organize, and dispatch service crews to jobs.
- Ensure installers have all required supplies and materials to perform their jobs.
- Ensure installers have correct site contact information.
- Arrange inspections with manufactures representatives.
- Electronically track semi annual maintenance jobs.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and health and safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a good command of the English language
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to teach skills and work effectively with others.
- Good listening and observation skills
- Proven ability to make sound, independent decisions.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Exemplary customer service and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and specialized software programs.
- Experience in customer service situations.
- Minimum 5 years roofing experience in all types of commercial roofing.
- Minimum 1 year of employee supervision experience.
- Red Seal Roofing Ticket, Torch Safety, and Fall Protection is an asset.
- Valid BC Drivers License and a clear Drivers Abstract.
