**Practicum Student Success Coordinator**

**About the Role**:
In this role, your efforts will directly contribute to the success and well-being of our students, faculty, and site partners, ensuring a rich and rewarding practicum experience for everyone involved.
- **Employment Type**: Full-time, Permanent (Monday-Friday)
- **Target Start Date**: ASAP
- **Location**: Surrey, BC & Remote
- **Salary**:Starting at $48,000 per annum

**What You Will Do**:

- **Faculty Support**:Assist faculty in fulfilling their roles and support student meetings on attendance, academics, and behavior during practicums.
- **Student Support**:Address student performance concerns per Stenberg College policies, supporting and escalating as needed.
- **Early Intervention**:Collaborate on early intervention for at-risk students.
- **Administrative Support**:Review weekly faculty reports, manage performance challenges, and report concerns.
- **Host Site Coordination**:Ensure timely support for host sites and preceptors through orientations and check-ins.
- **Training**:Provide training and refreshers for practicum monitors.
- **Technical Support**:Troubleshoot course access and electronic resource issues.
- **Student Orientations**:Deliver Practice Education Orientations.
- **Progress Tracking**:Review and update trackers for funded students, providing monthly feedback.
- **Appeals and Dismissals**:Respond to student appeals and communicate program dismissals.
- **Re-entry Processing**:Process re-entry requests for returning students.
- **Documentation**:Ensure practicum documentation meets program requirements and is properly **stored.**

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Post secondary Education in Education, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field is an asset.
- A passion for student success and experiential learning.
- Strong organizational and communication skills verbally and written.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Experience in educational settings is an asset.
- Ability to interpret and communicate policies effectively.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
