Toronto, Canada Mild Afro Lounge Full time

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Prepare specific dishes such as: steak, lamb chop, and various types of pasta dishes
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and communicate with management when supplies needed
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant & lounge or similar food service establishment
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various culinary techniques
- Expert knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Proven leadership abilities and the ability to effectively work within a team environment
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-volume environment
- At least 3 years within a chef position specifically cooking dishes such as: steak, lamb, and various pasta dishes
