Production Team Lead

**Position Summary**
Responsible for overseeing a team of production staff and working closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production flow in compliance with all regulatory standards. Ability to work independently with mínimal guidance for the assembly of cable and electronic assemblies. Ability to accurately follow written assembly instructions, mechanical drawings or verbal work instructions to guide team members to produce consistent workmanship to expected quality standards.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Read work orders, follow production instructions, drawings or sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Provide hands-on assistance in wire-cutting, stripping, crimping, heat-shrinking and other simple cable operations.
- Provide hands-on assistance in soldering wires or electronic components on harnesses and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, power tools and other equipment (as required).
- Assist Engineers / QA manager with test activities for finished products and sub-assemblies.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, deviations, and any quality concerns.
- Ensure production stock area is maintained in a clean and organized manner with all activities being accurately recorded and documented.
- Assist Production Manager on inventory management of item/ material usage in production area.
- Assist Production Manager with production scheduling, project organization on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Implement compliant production plans and standard operating procedures in collaboration with Production team and Quality Assurance.
- Maintain facility protocols for sanitation, cleaning, and other procedures.
- Maintain communication between production team and various departments to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood and implemented.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling tools, equipment, and materials. Report any safety hazards promptly.
- Utilize ERP and other internal systems to close jobs and request material replenishment.
- Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards.
- Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
**Skills**
- 1-2 years of experience as team lead / supervisor in production assembly with a desire to learn cable/electrical assembly processes, follow assembly instructions, and use various hand/power tools to assemble products.
- Proficient in performing precise and delicate tasks using hands and fingers. Able to manipulate small objects, operate tools, and handle intricate equipment effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Must be able to understand and comply with standard operating procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and productively as part of a team.
- Maintains strong work ethics.
- Fast learner and highly efficient.
- Ability to train employees on work-related tasks.
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:00
