We’re looking for a Distribution Team Lead to join our scaling organization.- At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by providing safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Distribution Team Lead to join our dynamic team located in Markham.**What’s important to us**:

**The Distribution Team Lead will**:

- Lead the Inbound, Replenishment, Fulfillment, or Outbound Team to accomplish daily and weekly tasks and objectives.
- Champion a safe workplace culture by prioritizing safety training and accident readiness, ensuring all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Cultivate a positive work environment where team members feel valued and motivated.
- Record attendance and lead morning start-of-shift (SOS) meetings to align team efforts.
- Conduct daily analysis to optimize staffing levels and workflow efficiency.
- Uphold proper work protocols to maintain consistency and quality standards.
- Ensure team meets or exceeds performance metrics, including volume, productivity, and KPIs.
- Document user errors in the system to address and prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with the Manager to safeguard inventory integrity within the warehouse.
- Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of distribution operations.
- Document and report damages in accordance with company filing policies.
- Provide support to other warehouse departments as required.
- Assist in implementing special projects as directed by the Manager.
- Engage in ongoing training, coaching, and development of staff, fostering transparent communication.
- Inspire team members with challenging assignments and coaching to promote individual growth and teamwork.
- Foster effective relationships with peers, team members, and managers to facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
- Mediate conflict resolution among team members to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes are in place for space planning, storage, packing, and shipping, while ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Perform daily reporting tasks, including shipping, reconciliation, KPI tracking, and monitoring incomplete sales orders.

**To be successful you should/ have**:

- Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams of 10+ associates.
- Over 4 years of supervisory experience, showcasing effective leadership skills.
- Proficient in the English language, with exceptional reading, writing, and oral communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling clear and effective communication in various situations.
- Proven track record in motivating teams, managing conflicts, providing constructive feedback, and nurturing leadership development.
- Possess excellent reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures to others.
- Advanced technical proficiency, including expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Flexibility to support multiple shifts as needed.
