**Responsibilities**
- Identify and capitalize on customer partnership opportunities
- Has a laser focus on delivering an exceptional Customer Experience
- Implement strategic business development growth plans to support existing customers
- Develop new and lasting relationships in an effort to grow business that will contribute to the company's growth plans and surpass individual sales targets
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure the customer's expectations are exceeded
- Identify new and innovative market opportunities and ways to mitigate competitive threats within the marketplace
- Manages time, priorities and activities with precision using the tools provided

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities**
- Bachelor's degree or 3 - 4 years prior transportation management/freight brokerage related business development/sales experience
- Hunter/Attainer mentality who constantly seeks new markets and new business expansion opportunities
- Proven experience within the non-asset, 3PL transportation industry including TL and LTL pricing in the Canadian, cross border and US marketplace
- Strong communication, technical and interpersonal skills that focus on customer service
- Proven and demonstrated knowledge and execution of successful sales development strategies
- A team player that possesses the ability to work independently to meet goals and deadlines
- Proximity to the GTA required
