Hologic is seeking an Account Executive (AE) responsible for achieving/exceeding quota in a geographically defined territory for the BSHS Division’s. The AE will drive territory growth by defining business plans and selling across the portfolio of new and existing products and services. This role will also build strong relationships with team members and customers - working to uncover and create needs with Hologic’s unique value proposition. This role will win with a customer focus, a sense of urgency and the ability to navigate complex and competitive customers opportunities.
**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**
- Develop and execute strategic, and tactical territory sales plans; including business reviews, education and events plans
- Provide and achieve sales forecast objectives for all products, to include capital equipment and related disposables for the Breast Screening and Diagnostic product lines.
- Present and successfully sell Hologic value proposition to multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Develop trusted advisor level relationships with key customer contacts and decision makers
- Share and action market feedback relative to competitive landscape, customer trends and products
- Develop and manage sales funnel to analyze, track activity and provide accurate forecasts
- Maintain up-to-date customer records relative to all account activity
- Leverage internal resources across Sales, Clinical, Technical, Marketing and Service teams to optimize customer experience
- Build a winning team around the customer - needs the customer have and needs we create
- Holds self-accountable and fulfills commitments
- Utilize CRM tools to document sales activities, manage accounts, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide feedback on product performance, competition, products, marketing practices and customer satisfaction. Submit special reports regarding operation of the territory, product acceptance, and specifications, or competitive activity.
- Attend all corporate training, sales meetings, conventions, and in-field development courses
**QUALIFICATION**
- Top performer (example - Presidents Club) and top revenue growth generator in previous roles
- Show up with a sense of urgency and a ‘can do’ winning attitude
- Track record of success achieving business results in complex, matrixed, healthcare environments
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and procurement processes
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving and strategic skills
- Experience navigating and win complex customer opportunities and RFPs/tenders
- Proven negotiation skills (in capital, device and/or disposable sales cycles)
- High level business and financial acumen
- Possess strong listening and interpersonal skills as well as excellent oral and written presentation skills
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- B.A/B.S from an accredited university or college in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
**ADDITIONAL DETAILS**
- Since this position requires extensive driving during the workday and sometimes evenings, a valid driving license and satisfactory driving record, as well as a serviceable vehicle available for work use is mandatory. The position requires traveling to regional accounts and medical conventions which may necessitate overnight stays.
- Willingness to travel overnight (2-3x/week) extensively within the assigned territory.
