Hamilton, Canada Air Liquide Full time

**The main objective and purpose of this position consists of training Air Liquide Canada and Carrier drivers on the correct procedures to ensure a safe and efficient delivery of our products. The incumbent also communicates the applicable transportation laws and regulations and promotes ALC safety and quality objectives.**

**1. Ensures development and Provides training to the team: Establishes a training plan for the drivers.**

**Keeps the drivers’ training files (quality system, technical training, driver’s permit, SAAQ file, etc.), along with the drivers’ qualifications charts for audit purposes up to date.**

**Keeps a list of the expiry dates for the various qualifications and requirements up to date.**

**Plans and gives the training described in the local quality instructions to new drivers and re-certifies currently employed drivers and Carriers drivers.**

**Gives cryogenic training on the road.**

**Trains all of the new drivers with respect to the safety policies and measures, operating procedures, dangerous materials, and ISO quality standards. Provides complete training to all members of the team (drivers, mechanics, office staff).**

**2. Audits customer locations: Visits the customer locations to analyze delivery problems and proposes solutions. Tracks customer tank repairs and communicates areas of concern to the customer and customer Installations team.**

**3. Ensures and promotes Quality Standards: Performs audits to ensure Quality procedures are being followed. Trains team on distribution procedures.**

**4. Ensures and promotes Safety: Performs audits to ensure safety procedures are being followed. Take part in various training sessions concerning emergency response and become part of the E.R. team.**

**5. Improves process: Works with his/her team and other multi-functional teams to continuously improve the work process. Analyzes driver activities, identifies the causes of problems, and proposes corrective measures.**

**TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE**
- **Diploma: Secondary school diploma combined with relevant experience**:

- **Training: Quality system (ISO), transportation of dangerous materials, cryogenics**:

- **Knowledge: Oral and written communication skills, bilinguism, mechanical skills**

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT**

**5 years of experience as a tractor-trailer truck driver and experience in a distribution center (Liquid Supply Center)**
