**CANDIDATE PROFILE**:
We are seeking a Regional Marketing Leader to take the helm of our British Columbia marketing initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for working with practice leaders and senior management to develop and implement marketing organization and strategy for projects. In addition, you will lead a dynamic and creative team of people who are responsible for coordinating and developing our regional pursuits and producing our regional marketing materials. Your proven experience within the AEC industry will be pivotal in crafting strategies that nurture our existing clientele and position our brand vision in the marketplace.

To be successful in this role, be prepared to operate with minimum amounts of direction and supervision, in an environment where you are expected to own your own department and execute on leadership’s priorities while also developing and executing on your own strategies to grow our business. You will be a key partner to management and senior leadership, providing insights and input as we collaborate to set direction and achieve goals.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO AT RJC**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with RJC’s objectives and brand vision.
- Manage, produce, and ensure the delivery of top quality, effective marketing collateral such as proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and ad content. Acts as a process driver to ensure the most efficient procedures and protocols are in place.
- Build, lead, coach and mentor a high-performing marketing team, developing team members skills and careers, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Leads and the production of the marketing team on short term work such as primarily project submissions, as well as longer term marketing projects.
- Provide input and collaboration to help establish priorities and protocols for responding to RFPs and other marketing-related inquiries.
- Effectively collaborates with marketing, business development, practice leaders, and project delivery staff when producing proposals, and other marketing materials, understanding priorities and direction.
- Develop and lead initiatives that raise brand awareness, such as awards programs, aware submittals, client themed events and materials, conferences and technical papers, staff resumes, project summaries and images. Ensure that processes are transparent, efficient and timely.
- Holds accountability for production, tracking, data gathering, reviews, timely submission and budgets for submissions.
- Provides input to improve win themes, target market focus, written content, info-graphics and similar collateral materials.
- Grows in understanding of RJC’ value proposition and the needs of our clients and provides insights and inputs to align both.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimum return for investment. Present regular reports on marketing performance to the executive team and stakeholders including suggestions for improvements, where appropriate.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO RJC**:
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing people.

**Skills**:

- Experience in either the Architectural, Engineering or Construction industries
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
