Hammond Manufacturing Company Limited, a leading Canadian manufacturer of electrical and electronic enclosures, is currently seeking quality-driven individuals to join our Production Team as **Brake Press Operators.**

**SUMMARY OF DUTIES**:
- The successful applicant will be required to set up and operate a variety of brake press machines in the production of electrical enclosures.
- The ability to understand and comprehend shop drawings and technical documentation.
- Manual labour including heavy lifting
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Ability to understand and demonstrate shop math
- Ability to use measurement equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications
- The ability to use and understand how to operate a PC to navigate the production ERP system and call upon drawings/BOM for each order
- The ability to follow established policies, procedures and production schedules
- Demonstrated ability to have excellent attention to detail and be quality focused
- Ability to use hand tools and lift up to 50lbs on a repeated basis
- Ability to lift and reach up to overhead reaching positions
- **Previous experience setting up and operating Amada, Accurpress, or Salvagnini presses considered a strong asset**
**HOURS OF WORK**:
**Straight shift**:
Afternoons: Monday - Thursday, 4:20pm - 2:20am
