We are seeking an individual to join our team who will perform a number of entry level tasks related to the manufacturing of our world class dry-type transformers. This position requires team members to be safety minded in the environment that utilizes operating procedures to ensure quality, production and delivery goals for our customers.

Typical duties for our full-time **Final Test and Inspection** role may include, but are not limited to:

- Responsible for seeing that the products conform to specifications
- May direct, instruct and train others
- Responsible for the rejection of products that do not conform to specification
- May be required to perform witness testing
- Sets up and performs a variety of tests and inspections for quality
- Some of these tests may include: turns, grounds, shorted turns, exciting current, polarity, inductance, resistance, standard C9, ratio, Meggar, DC resistance, HC&CV Hpot (dielectric induced) Induce test( dielectric induced), no-load loss, load loss & impedance, sound, corona, etc.
- Trouble shoot to determine cause for failures
- **Must be able to work afternoon shifts (4 - 10 hour shifts) starting at 4:15 pm.**

**Knowledge Required**:

- Must be familiar with a large variety of products and production tests.
- Must have a good knowledge of general manufacturing principles, terms, methods, and techniques.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of the theory of electricity and electronics in relation to transformers so that test results can be properly interpreted.
- Please note that all successful applicants will need to pass an electrical knowledge test when conducted
