Iso Coordinator

This position is under the direction of the Director Quality, the ISO Coordinator is responsible for providing support associated with developing an Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 17025, and other programs. The incumbent will also be responsible for HPS customer quality requirements in addition to providing support to improve efficiency and minimize waste. This position can be based out of Guelph, Granby, Baraboo, Mesta or Monterrey locations.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop an Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 17025, and other programs.
- Develop Policy statements for the IMS and various programs.
- Manage all phases of the Integrated Management Systems audit program, including the planning, scheduling, preparing, auditing, reporting and follow up to closure to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the programs.
- Assist in coordinating third party audits (registrars) and assist in Customer and/or Suppliers second party audits.
- Assist in identifying strengths, weaknesses and training requirements of all personnel related to the effective implementation and operation of these systems.
- Implementation at site and department level
- Collaborate with functional process owners to facilitate the development of IMS requirements.
- Document requirements from consultants and work with functional leaders on necessary changes.
- Promote and educate all personnel in understanding key indicator performance measurable and areas requiring improvement.
- Participate in the Internal Auditing schedule based on previous audit results and the status and importance of the areas being audited.
- Lead and/or assist in internal and external audits.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 6-9 years of experience related to ISO coordination, auditing, IMS development
- ISO 9001/14001 Internal Lead Auditor Certification required, ISO 17025 / 27001 / 45001 an asset
- Familiarity with design and manufacturing processes
- Must be assertive, speak and follow up with managers and supervisors to explain the progress of jobs and to obtain instructions and tasks
- Develop training materials and train staff in necessary tasks. Review employee capabilities to ensure job tasks are assigned appropriately
- Organize and lead meetings with various levels of HPS
- Ability to work independently and provide professional guidance and oversight to tasks and projects
- Ability to continuously learn and keep up with new technologies, products, information, and regulatory changes within industry
- Self-motivated and directed, requiring mínimal supervision
- Effective skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving and a keen attention to detail
