**What can I expect to do in this role?**: As an Inmate Trust Clerk, you will:

- reconcile inmate trust records using in-house computerized and online systems;
- prepare and process trust entries and correct errors;
- audit and process input of purchases;
- provide record keeping for financial transactions;
- respond to routine inquiries related to financial matters;
- provide information regarding the status of accounts;
- perform other related administrative functions;
- perform other duties as assigned by the program area.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Financial and Administrative Knowledge**:

- You have knowledge of financial administration policies and procedures to ensure compliance when processing, maintaining and correcting Offender Trust Account records.
- You possess demonstrated mathematical skills and the ability to perform accurate calculations.

**Analytical, Problem Solving and Communication Skills**:

- You have analytical and problem solving skills to verify accuracy of financial information and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- You have communication skills (both oral and written) with excellent interpersonal skills to deal with offenders and staff with tact and diplomacy.

**Computer Skills**:

- You have the ability to operate a computer and associated software (Microsoft Office Suite, including spreadsheets, word processing and databases) with accurate typing and keyboarding skills.
