**Shipping and Receiving Coordinator**

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator.

**Position Overview**:As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator at Italic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods both domestically and internationally. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in utilizing various shipping methods and services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize local, LTL (Less Than Truckload), and large shipping services (FedEx, UPS, Canada Post etc.) to facilitate shipments.
- Liaise with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange transportation and negotiate rates.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and export documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements for domestic and international shipments.
- Collaborate with the sales, service and production teams to prioritize orders and optimize shipping processes.
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between shipments and orders.
- Handle customs brokerage procedures for international shipments, including tariff classification and duty calculations.
- Monitor shipment tracking and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Resolve shipping-related issues and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain organized records of shipping and receiving activities.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, preferably in a similar role.
- Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with shipping software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, carriers, and customers.
- Detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the job.
- Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement initiatives.
