Toronto, Canada Queen Street Bakery Full time

The main responsibilities of this role will be to ensure orders are fulfilled end-to-end, leaving our customers satisfied. That includes managing inventory, packing orders, creating shipping labels, coordinator with shipping companies and corresponding with customers about their orders.

You will report directly into the Production Manager and be on ground floor of a growing business as we look to expand across North America. You will also oversee our fulfillment process. If you have a good idea, we want to hear it and make it happen.

**Job location: Scarborough, ON**

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES**:

- Load outgoing trucks and unloads incoming trucks at the shipping bay.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Fill out a Receiving Report to document cleanliness of product and truck and to ensure proper temperature.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Pick (assemble) orders
- Mark shrink-wrapped product/skid with destination information.
- Unpack and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments.
- Operate lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Managing inventory, packing and distributing

**Necessary Knowledge and Experience**:

- At least 3 years’ Receiving/Warehouse experience.
- Strong organization and planning skills. Ability to prioritize work.
- Analytical skills to assess problematic situations. Strong decision-making skills in pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal direction.
- Mechanical aptitude and dexterity to operate a fork truck. (Licensed).
- Powered Palletjack
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to use a variety of software programs

**Working Conditions**:95% of time is spent on the plant floor; 5% of time is spent in office setting (plant office) - Situational based.

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Food manufacturing industry: 3 years (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
