We are looking for a shipping and receiving clerk to provide support for the shipping and delivery of medications. Many of the items being shipped from the pharmacy are fragile and require complex shipping and pack out protocols to ensure that the integrity of the products is maintained. The scope of this role also includes the receipt and unpacking of orders related to the shipping operations of the pharmacy - putting the boxes and ice packs into stock when received.

Hours are 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday, Saturday 10 to 4:30.

**Responsibilities**
- Packing of medications as per size of shipment and applicable protocols. This may include room temperature and cold-chain products.
- Accurately labelling, invoicing and sorting packages.
- Evaluate shipping volume and needs of the pharmacy to ensure that enough shipping materials are ordered from our vendors.
- Physically store and organize shipping materials in the pharmacy
- Receive and unpack packages related to shipping which are sent to the pharmacy.
- Ensure quality of performed work and compliance with the requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
- Careful attention to detail as it relates to labeling the shipments and ensuring boxes are packed properly
- Basic computer proficiency in producing invoices and shipping labels
- Competency in inventory management of shipping supplies.
- Capable of lifting boxes or materials up to 30 lbs.
